01 - Process Specification Order-X
The Forum National de la Facture Electroniques et des Marchés Publics Electroniques (FNFE-MPE) and the Forum elektronische Rechnung Deutschland (FeRD) have now also recently published the equivalent for order placement, the so-called hybrid format Order-X 1.0. This format is based on the same model as ZUGFeRD/Factur-X and enables a flowing workflow in digital order processing. It can be read and processed by both humans and machines.
Order-X 1.0 can be downloaded free of charge. The corresponding ZIP files contain the following documents:

Advantages of the hybrid format
- Digitized ordering processes, without having to forego the familiar visual control
- Continuously digitized and collaborative workflow
- Acceleration of processes
- Automation of processes
- Processes are less risk-prone
In addition, Order-X also offers different data profiles, such as Basic, Comfort, and Extended, to help customize management systems so that the integration and creation of data is structured.
Order-X also supports three additional order notifications
- ORDER (Order from the buyer to the supplier)
- ORDER_RESPONSE (Confirmation, rejection, or change recommendation of the supplier to the buyer)
- ORDER-CHANGE (Confirmation of the change by the buyer)
