Nowadays, the use and topic of blockchain is becoming more and more attractive and relevant for many companies. We at INPOSIA have also thought about this topic and asked ourselves to what extent blockchain is actually suitable for use in supply chain networks or whether this technology can even replace classic data exchange. In this assessment, we have compiled all the important information.

In doing so, we have examined the challenges facing supply chain networks and companies that need to embed modern data exchange in their processes.

Of course, in our paper, we also discuss blockchain technology in terms of how it works and take a stance on whether this new technology will replace traditional electronic data exchange.
